Top 10 Intel Science Winners

Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) announces that six Research Science Institute (RSI) 2009 alumni were among the top ten young scholars to garner top prizes at the 2010 Intel Science Talent Search Gala held on Tuesday, March 16th. CEE’s RSI alumni were recognized for their outstanding research projects.

RSI is a six-week summer enrichment program jointly sponsored by CEE and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). RSI is held annually on the campus of MIT where the high school scholars participate in college-level classes under the mentorship of leading scientists and researchers. The students conduct original, cutting edge research in state-of-the-art university laboratories, hospitals, and corporate research facilities at no cost to them. Students make oral and written presentations based on their research in the last week of the program.
