Energy Intelligence Results in 15% Efficiency Boost for Manufacturers

Environmental Leader - The Aberdeen Group has identified Energy Intelligence, the heart of EPS’ energy and carbon reduction solutions, as a best practice approach to reducing energy use in the industrial manufacturing sector. The report, “Energy Intelligence: Creating Data Driven Efficiency,” based on data from more than 200 manufacturers, finds that those that deployed this approach achieved a 15 percent reduction in their energy use, more than double the industry average, while achieving substantially higher operating margins.

The energy management report finds that 80 percent of respondents say reducing costs is one of their top two concerns that impact their operations. The Aberdeen report outlines the Energy Intelligence approach for better energy management in industrial operations, including the use of real-time energy data, which gives companies greater visibility into system performance.
