Obama Calls For Carbon-Cap Bill, Clean-Energy Investment
AFP (2/25) reports that during his speech to Congress last night, President Obama "urged Congress to draft legislation setting market-based caps on carbon gases in a bid to combat global warming." The AP (2/25) adds, "Obama is urging investment in clean and renewable energy, saying it will help America lead the world in the 21st century." He "says his recovery plan will double the amount of renewable energy available in the U.S. over the next three years." Hat Tip: NAM
